SCOPE

In response to accelerating climate change and sustainability challenges in Pacific Island states, FJCU will host the 2026 Sustainability Forum and International Conference in Palau, August 24–26, 2026. 

Centered on Island Resilience and Global Health, the Forum aligns with SDG 3 & SDG 12, advancing interdisciplinary dialogue on sustainable governance, green energy transition, responsible consumption, medical collaboration, and innovative education in island and coastal contexts.

Bringing together academia, policy, and industry, 2026SFIC fosters actionable research, cross-sector partnerships, and long-term Taiwan–Palau cooperation for resilient and sustainable futures.

SUBMISSIONGUIDANCE

2026SFIC welcomes submissions for both Oral and Poster presentations. All manuscripts must be submitted as Extended Abstracts and formatted in APA (7th edition).

Extended abstracts should include the following elements: Title, Research Overview, Purpose, Methods, Results, Discussion, and up to five Keywords.

All submissions will be subject to peer review.
